Punjab Technical University is now planning to change that in a move that will also save its officials some stress. The PTU’s board council has passed the proposal that the varsity’s Combined Entrance Test (CET) would be scrapped.
It was decided in a meeting on August 29 that the university would use All India Engineering Entrance Exam(AIEEE) results for providing admission. However, the proposal is yet to be accepted by the PTU board of governors.
