Pardon me for asking, but why would a subject be suitable or not suitable for a girl? Why does it make a difference? Where I went to university, the majority of all the programs had more female students than male. I think your daughter should follow her dreams!

Speaking of which, did you apply for the LearnHub Dream Scholarship?

    Hi,

Both Civil Engineering and Metallugrcial Engineering are fine for girls. Both fields have undergone a radical change, over the past couple of years.

It is possible for women to get a career, which is both fulfilling and rewarding in these domains. Jobs in civil engg. and metallurgical engg. now don’t necessarily mean working in construction sites or mines. They can also mean managing resources in major firms and/or working at the planning stages of projects.

I would suggest that both branches are great and if your daughter gives it her best, then there is no reason why she can’t achieve dizzying heights!

    Good Luck!
