Under quota, theres AI and HS…AI=All India…what does HS mean? does it mean the quota for ppl of the state in which the college is situated?

My AI rank in Op category is 170365 and HS is 13387. I want to get admission in NIT nagpur. In 2008 the closing rank in HS quota were: 1) 15879 for chem engg 2) 14263 for Civil engg 3) 20728 for minning engg 4) 18077 for Metellurgy engg whether i can get admission in NIT Nagpur Through HS quota. I m Not elegible for online counselling. How m i supposed to get admission in any of the branches if i m entitled for online counselling.

Hello sir, I got AIR 3015 (OP) in architecture… I am from west bengal and my state rank is 87… what and where are my chances limited to this year ?? Moreover i have been browsing opening and closing ranks of both 2007 and 2008 and they differ vastly. 2008 has been very strict whereas 2007 had taken OP ranks even till 6000.
Could you please suggest me something? I am extremely interested in a career in architecture.
Are these institutions different mentioned under the AIEEE list:
Birla Institute of Technology (F), Ranchi Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi
Similarly for Deogarh and Patna. What does that (F) stands for? I could only find one institute through online search.

Under OBC category, closing rank of NIT, Nagpur is All India Rank 13775 last year. So as per this you don’t have a chance to get into NIT, Nagpur

hi Suresh , mu cousine got all india rank 67650 in Op and SC rank 2023 All india ranks, and HS rank 9774 and SC rank 356 after first counseeling he got civil in NIT Silcher. can you tell me what are the possibility to get good NIT as per last year opening and closing ranks he shd get all NIT under SC catagory. please let me how its different from previous year rank and this year i have doubt about last year opening and closing rank.
