Can somebody give me the expected rank that would fetch a computer science seat in NIT Warangal for an open category student.?

Hi,

For a computer science seat in NIT Warangal, the rank for open category student must be below 2000.

m a delhi student n belong to general category my all india rank in gen category is 30272 and overall rank is 39606. going by last years opening and closing ranks provided by nit trichy site (www.nitt.edu/home/academics/admissions/btech/airank/ ) it closed at arnd 22k for chemical and cilvil so is dere any hope in lower ranked nits. if nt wat r d other gud clgs i cud get thru in civil or chemical

  Hi,
  
  The closing rank specified for NIT, Trichy must be the local student rank. For non local students, last year the admission into NIT Trichy is closed at rank close to 10,000. For your rank there is no chance to get into NITs.

  Hi,
  
  If you belong to open category then you do not have chances to get into NITs but you can get into other colleges that come under AIEEE.
  
  Also, give us complete details that includes your state category and reservation category so that we can come up with accurate information

hi Sureshbala….i appeard for aiee-2009 n got 133 marks !! m an OBC candidate !! my AI OBC rank is 14567 and AI state rank in OBC categry is 588 !! !! i belong to maharashtra.. do i stand a chance in NIT-nagpur for mechanical , computer or E n TC ?? plz reply as soon as possibl!!

  For your category, the closing rank in NIT, Nagpur for CSE is 14850, ECE it is 13755 and for EEE it is 16868. These are the All India Ranks not the category based ranks. So from your All India Rank you can get an idea about your chances.

hi sureshbhala !! i have appeard in aieee from maharashtra bt my OBC certificate is from MP because dats ma birth place .. can i get NIT nagpur under HS OBC quota ??? can i get dat quota or do i need maharashtra’s OBC certificate 2get dat quota ? plzzz reply soon !!! m really v.tensd !!! plzzzzzzzzzzz

  Your home state will be be state from where you passed your +2. It is not the state mentioned in your OBC certificate.
